When aesthetic equipment fails, every day of downtime costs your clinic revenue and disrupts your clients. Cosmetech's repair service is built around one priority - getting your equipment back into service as quickly and cost-effectively as possible.

With both in-house workshop engineers and field service engineers operating nationwide, we assess the most efficient repair pathway for every situation. For larger machines we attend on-site. For smaller portable devices we offer a convenient send-in service to our Auckland workshop - and can provide a courier label if needed.

We work on the equipment we supply as well as a wide range of other brands and models. If your machine has no local service agent or your overseas manufacturer is slow to respond, we are happy to take a look and provide an honest assessment before any work is undertaken.

Two Ways to Get Your Equipment Repaired

Onsite Repairs

For larger aesthetic machines that are difficult or impractical to move - including IPL and VPL systems, CO2 lasers, HIFU devices, large LED machines and RF microneedling platforms - our field service engineers can attend your clinic directly. A callout fee applies for on-site visits, with rates adjusted for locations outside Auckland where additional travel or flights are required. We cover all of New Zealand from our Auckland base.

Send-In Repairs

For smaller and more portable devices - including sonophoresis machines, microdermabrasion units, electrolysis equipment and similar devices - sending your equipment to our Auckland workshop is often the fastest and most cost-effective repair pathway. We can provide a prepaid courier label on request. Once received, our engineers will review the machine and provide a clear quote before any work begins.

Loan equipment may be available during the repair period depending on machine type and current availability. Ask us when you get in touch and we will do our best to keep your clinic running while your equipment is with us.

Frequently Asked Questions - Aesthetic Equipment Repairs

How long does an aesthetic equipment repair typically take?

Turnaround depends on the type of machine, the nature of the fault and parts availability. Where parts are in stock repairs can often be completed quickly. Where parts need to be sourced - particularly for less common or older machines - turnaround will be longer. We always communicate realistic timeframes upfront so you know what to expect.

My aesthetic equipment no longer has a service agent in New Zealand - can you help?

This is one of the most common situations we deal with. Many clinics operate equipment whose New Zealand distributor is no longer active, or whose overseas manufacturer provides slow or limited local support. Where possible we provide assessment and repair for equipment in this situation - get in touch with your machine details and we will advise honestly on whether we can assist.

Can you repair equipment from brands you don't supply?

What if my equipment can't be repaired?

If a repair is not viable - due to parts unavailability, age of the machine or the nature of the fault - we will tell you clearly and honestly before any costs are incurred. In this situation we are happy to discuss replacement options from our equipment range if appropriate.
